Co-op Student Program
Various departments within Halton Region offer paid work opportunities to eligible post-secondary students. The co-op program allows you to apply what you have learned in your post-secondary educational program and further develop skills and knowledge in your of field of study. By joining our team, you will get to explore a career and gain hands-on experience.

Eligibility criteria
- Legally entitled to work in Canada as a student.
- In possession of a Social Insurance Number (card) at time of hire.
- Currently enrolled in a post-secondary educational institution on a full-time basis and returning to school upon completion of the co-op work term(s).

Application process
- Job opportunities will be posted throughout the year. Co-op work terms run January to April, May to August, and September to December.

- The employment period may be 4 months, 8 months, 12 months and 18 months based on the needs of the department.
