Job Summary
Reporting to the Manager, Digital Transformation, the Change Management Specialist supports organizational change by assessing stakeholder needs, improving readiness, and developing repeatable change processes. The role focuses on the people side of change, helping employees adapt to new technologies and ways of working.
A key responsibility is overseeing SAP Transformation training and development throughout all phases of the project. This includes identifying training needs, coordinating with System Integration partners and trainers, supporting training delivery, and ensuring users understand technology changes. The role also conducts readiness assessments, maintains training information, and coordinates training materials and logistics.
Duties & Responsibilities
Change Management
- Design and execute strategies to facilitate employee adoption of SAP/Digital Transformation changes, overseeing the smooth transition and adoption of implemented modules through all phases of transformation.
- Contribute to successful change outcomes through adoption and usage by preparing, equipping and supporting people with integrated strategies and plans. Build standard Change methodology for SAP Transformation, including communications.
- Engage, train and support organizational Change Agents/Resources for change.
- Facilitate and manage ‘Change Leadership Network’ sessions.
- Contribute to and review the detailed change management and communication plans.
- Lead stakeholder analysis, create and maintain the stakeholder registry, working with business and management.
- Participate in project readiness surveys and present results/action items.
- Oversee change impact gathering through all process and solution design workshops.
- Contribute to and review the Change Impact Assessment of all changes identified and address them in the Change Management plan.
- Lead end-user mapping discussions.
- Oversee and review all communications - verbal and written for consistency of message.
- Work closely with System Integrator Change management lead and PM.
- Report SAP Change Readiness to Leadership team.
Additional Duties & Responsibilities
Training
- Lead and manage organization wide training requirements for Digital Transformation initiatives.
- Work with System Integrator to complete ‘Change Impact.
- Lead and manage ‘Training Needs Assessment’ to feed into creation of Training Content and Training Curriculum.
- Support identification of train-the-trainers for The Region.
- Lead the planning and execution of all train-the trainer sessions with The Region trainers.
- Contribute to, oversee, and manage scope for the creation of training curriculum, training course outlines, and training material development in alignment with project related SOW's and goals.
- Define and manage alignment of SAP Learning licenses across project team (Admin support for tracking).
- Lead the planning and execution of end-user training with The Region trainers.
- Oversee the development of SAP training materials for technical resources.
- Oversee the development of SAP delta training materials for Business resources.
- Work with business leads to address risk.
- Work closely with the System Integrator Training lead and PM.
- Report Training Readiness to Leadership team.
Skills & Qualifications
- Degree in Business or equivalent experience.
- 5+ years' experience or equivalent education in change management.
- 5+ years' experience or equivalent education as a Training Coordinator/Training Methodologies.
- Experience with large-scale organizational change efforts.
- Solid understanding of organizational change and change management principles, methodologies and tools.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to establish and maintain strong relationships.
- Ability to be flexible, adaptable and able to work in ambiguous situations.
- Organized and skilled in strategic planning and tactical execution with experience in project management.
- Problem solving and root-cause identification skills.
- Able to work effectively at all levels of an organization.
- Must be a team player and able to work collaboratively.
- Acute business acumen and understanding of organizational issues and challenges.
- Familiarity with project management approaches, tools and phases of the project lifecycle.
- Change management certification or designation desired.
