  • Currently enrolled in a post-secondary educational institution on a full-time basis and returning to school in the fall of 2025.

Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented summer student to assist with website content migration and provide technical support for our Salesforce team. As part of the website upgrade project team, the summer student will manually rebuild content using widgets and features available in Kentico 13. Additionally, support the technical team with basic development tasks, quality assurance, and technical documentation related to our Salesforce implementation.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Review and assess unstructured (HTML 4 and 5) content pages on the existing Kentico 12 platform.
  • Recreate Kentico 12 content pages in Kentico 13 without using HTML by applying provided templates, widgets, and features.
  • Ensure accuracy, consistency, and adherence to branding and accessibility standards, as well as proper application of basic search engine optimization.
  • Collaborate with team members to resolve issues or clarify requirements.
  • Conduct quality assurance checks to confirm proper functionality and display of content.
  • Maintain focus on completing assigned lists of pages and documenting progress, questions, or differences between the old and new versions of content.
  • Assist in reviewing, testing, and troubleshooting Salesforce applications and features.
  • Support quality assurance efforts, including identifying and reporting defects.
  • Assist in creating and maintaining technical documentation, including process workflows, test cases, and user guides.
  • Work with developers to validate system functionality and ensure data integrity.
  • Support minor configuration tasks in Salesforce under supervision.

Skills & Qualifications

  • Currently enrolled in a Computer Science, Information Technology, Web Development, or a related program.
  • Basic knowledge of HTML, CSS, and an understanding of web development principles.
  • Familiarity with content management systems (experience with Kentico is an asset but not required; training will be provided).
  • Familiarity with Customer Relationship Management (Salesforce) is an asset but not required.
  • Understanding of software development concepts and programming basics (e.g., JavaScript, Python, or Apex is an asset).
  • Knowledge of quality assurance techniques and testing methodologies.
  • Ability to write clear and concise technical documentation.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Good organizational and time management skills to meet project deadlines.
  • Familiarity with search engine optimization (SEO) and user experience (UX) design principles is an asset.
