Job Summary

Reporting to the Supervisor of App Support, this position is responsible for providing end user support for multiple systems, reviewing, planning and executing software upgrades in order to maintain a state of good repair, maintaining comprehensive documentation as well as working collaboratively with implementation teams to onboard new software to support.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Provide second level application support for existing software applications including systems upgrade planning and execution change control.
  • Administer and maintain assigned application portfolio and maintain application inventory and lifecycle to ensure a state of good repair.
  • Implement small-scale information systems including software acquisition, hardware sizing, software installation, systems testing, documentation and training.
  • Participate in solution evaluation and recommendation including the development of user requirements, analysis, design and process and data modeling.
  • Advise on policy and procedure changes as they relate to the implementation of information technology.
  • Liaise and collaborate with vendor support, IT groups and clients to resolve business application issues.
  • Participate in the creation and maintenance of system and support documentation for supported applications and applicable support processes
  • Maintain comprehensive application documentation.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Skills & Qualifications

Essential

  • Degree or diploma in Computer Science or related field and a minimum of three (3) years of relevant working experience.
  • Experience supporting both commercially purchased applications either on premise or through cloud technologies as well as internally developed applications.
  • Excellent oral written and presentation skills.
  • Combination of education and experience will be considered.

 

Preferred

  • Knowledge of administration and system integration using Windows 11, Microsoft 365, Intune, SharePoint and SQL server.
  • Working knowledge of SAP, Salesforce, Infor Public Sector and Yardi.
  • Familiarity with ITIL methodologies and implementations.

  • Flexibility in working hours will be required as there is a rotational standby technical support on a twenty-four (24) hour by seven (7) day basis.
