To be eligible to apply for a co-op student position, you must meet the following criteria:
- Legally entitled to work in Canada as a student
- In possession of a Social Insurance Number (card) at time of hire
- Currently enrolled in a post-secondary educational institution on a full-time basis and returning to school in the fall of 2026
This position will require the successful incumbent to provide proof of co-op eligibility, a transcript and tax credit form(s) from their school’s co-op department.
Job Summary
Reporting to the Supervisor of Infrastructure Data Management, this co-op position will support activities related to the maintenance of the regional water and wastewater assets within INFOR Public Sector (INFOR PS), which are critical to the delivery of Public Works related services.
Duties & Responsibilities
Assists with the management of Public Works asset data within INFOR PS:
- Assists in the maintenance of record systems related to manuals, business processes, JIRA issue logs, and other documentation
- Responds to internal/external requests for INFOR PS data and information
- Assist with business process mapping for GIS and InforPS processes
- Support system testing to mitigate issues and determine optimal solutions
- Analyze data using tools such as FME and PowerBI for reporting and other purposes
- Work as part of a team
- Performs other duties as assigned
Skills & Qualifications
Essential
- Energetic, self-motivated and well-organized individual with a keen interest in municipal infrastructure
- Strong interpersonal and customer service skills, and the ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
- Excellent oral and written skills
- Experience with Business Administration or a similar discipline
- Experience with the MS-Office Suite
Preferred
- Knowledge of INFOR PS or other work order management systems would be an asset
Working/ Employment Conditions
Working/Employment Conditions:
- 12-16 month co-op position
- 35 hour work week
- Rate of pay: based upon year in school
- Possession of a valid G class driver’s license and access to a personal vehicle is preferred
- Pay Range: $18-21/hr (experience is factored in)
