To be eligible to apply for a summer student position, you must meet the following criteria:

  • Legally entitled to work in Canada as a student.
  • In possession of a Social Insurance Number (card) at time of hire.
  • Currently enrolled in a post-secondary educational institution on a full-time basis and returning to school in the fall of 2025.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Perform customer service duties.
  • Enter data in the corporate financial information system (SAP) such as, purchase orders, goods issues and goods receipting.
  • Performs related clerical/support duties, such as archiving and filing documents. 
  • Assist with inventory cycle counts and maintaining a clean and tidy warehouse space.
  • Perform inventory duties such as stocking shelves.
  • Performs financial analysis in Excel.
  • Assists and supports Supply Chain Operations staff as required.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Skills & Qualifications

Essential

  • Enrolled in a post-secondary Business Administration, Supply Chain, or related program.
  • Strong organizational, time management and customer service skills are required along with data entry skills.
  • MS Office proficiency, specifically with Excel.

 

Preferred 

  • Clerical experience.

Working Conditions

  • Travel will be required, the incumbent must provide their own transportation.
  • The incumbent must be able to perform the necessary physical tasks associated with the position including lifting approximately 50 lbs., pushing, pulling, and moving heavy materials, equipment and boxes.
  • The incumbent must have a pair of CSA green patch steel toed safety boots.

  • The incumbent will be required to provide a copy of their driver’s license by their first day of employment.
