Job Summary
Duties & Responsibilities
- Manage, update, and monitor compliance of HCHC partner agreements including tracking renewals and insurance.
- Provide logistical support for community development programming for Tenant and Community Support Specialists.
- Support tenants to complete required documents and meet ongoing housing requirements.
- Support evaluation and reporting of community development initiatives including dashboards, Board reports and formal evaluations.
- Establish and maintain effective working relationships with staff, tenants and community agencies by communicating current events that affect tenants.
Skills & Qualifications
- Degree or diploma in a Social or Human Services field.
- Three (3) years of experience supporting community development or client wellness initiatives in a social or human services role.

Well-developed written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills, with demonstrated political acuity and understanding of regional government processes.

Demonstrated excellence in customer service and relationship-building with internal and external stakeholders.

Knowledge of and commitment to Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion (EDI) principles.

Demonstrated organizational skills, with the ability to manage priorities effectively.

Knowledge of relevant legislation and processes, including the Housing Services Act and Landlord and Tenant Board.

Familiarity with Halton-based non-profits and experience working in collaborative environments.

Familiarity with the Yardi suite of systems.

Experience managing agreements and working effectively across teams.

Working Conditions
- The working environment follows a hybrid model in accordance with the Region’s Hybrid Work Policy. Travel to HCHC sites will be required. The incumbent must provide their own transportation.
- This position may involve contact with residents, senior management, Regional Council members, and governmental and non-governmental organizations.
