Job Summary

Reporting to the Manager, SAP Transformation, the SAP Solution Architect will oversee all system architecture aspects of SAP system solution implementations. The position provides key strategic and tactical guidance to facilitate the implementation and support of the SAP suite of solutions with emphasis on client business functionality and overall performance. 


SAP Solution Architect will analyze, research, design and develop new functionality and integration with key applications and services under SAP ecosystems.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Conduct in-depth architectural analysis which involves analyzing the technical environment, enterprise specifics and business requirements.
  • Leverage extensive knowledge of industry and solution best practices and methodologies to make solution recommendations on complex SAP environments.
  • Recommend courses of action on the development of ERP/SAP solutions and advises on limitations and constraints that are built into platform and, how to segment scope into logical phases for deployment.
  • Design and configure SAP (S4 HANA and SuccessFactors) and related business-critical technical solutions that meet the Region’s organizational and design requirements.
  • Participate and/or lead in design sessions, demos, and prototype sessions, testing and training workshops to client groups and internal stakeholders
  • Optimize the value of various applications and mitigate risks in their implementation.
  • Maintain active involvement in related industry associations, and related professional development organizations and monitor the external environment and evaluates emerging technology, public sector and market trends for the purpose of updating platform architecture requirements.
  • Provide technical expert leadership by remaining current with architecture methods and frameworks.
  • Be a client-facing partner for the SAP ECC, S/4 HANA solution design, delivery and issue resolution.
  • Develop and manage strong working relationships within Business Solutions & Process Transformation division and Digital & Information Services department.
  • Facilitate business decision making by holding meetings, engaging stakeholders, developing implementation plans

Skills & Qualifications


  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related discipline.
  • 8+ years’ experience in critical problem solving and advanced troubleshooting skills to drive resolution to technical and business issues.
  • Expertise in cross functional integration points within the ECC suite of products
  • Experience working in a heavily customized environment with several ECC landscapes
  • Deep knowledge and understanding of SAP S4/HANA to lead solution blueprint discussions accounting for integration points between the SAP modules as well as non-SAP legacy applications and, to design, communicate and deliver innovative end-to-end solution recommendations leveraging new features of SAP products and technologies.
  • Solid consulting and facilitation skills
  • Exemplary influencing and relationship management skills
  • Strong leadership skills to be able to lead customer engagements at all levels
  • Ability to build camaraderie to engage stakeholders along a journey to achieve outcomes 


  • 6+ years’ experience in Brownfield and Greenfield implementations in an S4 environment
  • Expertise in ABAP development with very good understanding of SAP modules such as Finance, HR, Supply Chain, and Plant Maintenance
  • Experience using ABAP objects, HANA SQL Programming, SAP Fiori Developments, OData developments.
  • Experience with SAP security concepts and have implemented authorization checks in ABAP objects.
