Job Summary

The Systems Analyst (SAP Basis Administrator) is responsible for leading technical implementations and providing advanced support for SAP systems, including S4HANA on RISE, ECC, BW, Solution Manager, and SuccessFactors. Key duties include system planning, software installation, upgrades, BASIS tasks, and managing authorization roles. The role requires strong experience in SAP environments, hands-on knowledge of Fiori and SuccessFactors, and may involve after-hours support. Preferred qualifications include certifications in SAP Basis, SuccessFactors, Oracle, and HANA databases, along with familiarity with tools like Gold Client and LiveCompare.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Lead project technical implementation including software acquisition, system planning, development and system integration, hardware sizing, software. installation, systems testing, documentation and training.
  • Administer and support systems including reviewing hardware sizing and system architecture, software updates and upgrade planning and execution.
  • Migrate system enhancements/projects.
  • Participate in RFP development and solution evaluation, and recommendation, development of user requirements, analysis, design and process, data modeling, and contractor selection.
  • Liaise and collaborate with contractors as required to deliver projects.
  • Develop and customize applications and reports using various kinds of software tools.
  • Analyze, architect, design, recommend and implement system solutions.
  • Provide 3rd level support for existing software applications which includes systems upgrade planning and execution change control, advising on policy and procedure changes as they relate to the implementation of information technology, monitoring of systems resource utilization and capacity planning.
  • Support SAP S4HANA on RISE environment.
  • Support SAP ECC, BW on-premises with Oracle Database and Windows as operating system.
  • Support SAP Solution Manager on-premises with Sybase Database and Windows as operating system.
  • Support and administer SAP SuccessFactors.
  • Implement SAP S4HANA Support Packages, CLC and Year End Master Notes, SuccessFactors releases.

Skills & Qualifications

  • Degree or diploma in Computer Science or related field and a minimum of five (5) years of experience working in Information Technology.
  • Proven experience in software development, implementation and integration in client/server, internet applications under Microsoft system environments.
  • Knowledge of SuccessFactors Platform such as Security and role-based permissions, Data management and integration with S4HANA Employee master data
  • Strong knowledge and hands-on experience on SAP authorization roles.
  • Strong knowledge of SAP Fiori Apps, Catalogues, Groups, Tiles and authorization roles.

  • Mobile application development.
